As of 2022, Norma Hand Brill, board-certified elder law attorney, joined Hampton Law as ‘of counsel’. In this capacity, Ms. Brill is not actively meeting with clients or working on client matters, but serves as an honorific counselor when and where her experience is needed.
Ms. Brill became a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) through the National Elder Law Foundation in 1996. In addition, she was one of the initial board-certified elder law attorneys in Florida when Florida initiated that certification in 1998. Originally from Texas, she obtained her BBA from the University of Texas in Austin and her law degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.
Attorney Brill is licensed to practice in Florida and Tennessee. Prior to joining Hampton Law, she managed her own firm, the Law Office of Norma Hand Brill / Southwest Elder Law, for more than thirty years.
